Great location. Great selection of breakfast. Nice big and clean room. Most of all, great staff who accommodate and entertain our needs. Only small issue, parking ramp a bit tight but convex mirror was placed at many points that helps a lot.

check in was so easy and smooth during our stay!clean hotel,worth money to stay,easy excess to city..recomended to stay as quiet and big room..friendly staff and hey its clean too.of course we will repeated!!!

Good location and spacious room. However the rooms, interior decos & furnitures has to be refurbished for the comfortness and feel good experience. Other than that, most important is the parking safety of guests vehicle entering the hotel. Vehicles enter & exit lane is to small. Need to place mirrors or any cautions signage for guests to be more alert when entering & exit the hotel. Good stay but "Need" improvement.

Room tip: Eating places is nearby. Just within walking distance

We got what we requested for, a clean and quiet room. Front desk staff called us to check in if everything was alright, that is a personal touch we like. The staffs were friendly & warm, plenty of miles, made us feel welcomed. With ample parking, convenience location, we enjoyed our exploration nearby. It was a restful holiday, thank you Bayview Hotel.

We took 3 rooms and stayed for 4D3N. On the 9th of July 2022, at around 1pm, we were swimming at the pool.

One of the staff by the name Nizam shouted from far saying kids below 18 are not allowed in the Jacuzzi. We acknowledged and advised the kids to swim at the pool. The person again came and snap a picture of us with his personal phone. I approached the person and asked, why are you taking our picture at the pool? He arrogantly answer that he need to take picture (with or without people in the pool) and share in their whatsapp group as requested by their Manager. I find that its useless to continue debating with him and when im about to walkaway he asked me in a rude manner, “why, is there a problem?”. I replied; Yes, raising your voice and taking my family picture at the pool with your personal phone and share in the whatsapp group without my permission is an invasion of privacy. I further lodged a complaint to the Guest Experience Manager and he said that he will look into this as he also was not sure whether it’s the hotel practise (to take picture of their visitor and share in the whatsapp grp). He also apologise for the staff action. On the next day, we made a complaint to the Hotel Manager and he confidently said that it’s the Hotel policy and he himself requested the staff to take the picture and its been their practise.

Definitely something is not right here on how the hotel been managed and operated. Seems like they can do whatever they want without taking care the services, ethics, guest experience and most of all "privacy".

So guess what, don’t be shocked if you experienced such incident and your family picture at the hotel circulated around.

Oh, not to mentioned that the hotel room water was brown (where they end up moving us to another room), the new room had warm air cond (where they end up giving us a fan), the water in the toilet did not flow well causing a flood even after leaving it overnight and the wifi is very poor.

Room tip: Theres a hospital infront the hotel in case you need to check your blood pressure and get admitted.

Dear Naufalkaff,

Thank you for your account of the incident. I believe this has been relayed to our Room Division Manager whom have taken the necessary steps including reprimanding the staff concerned to ensure this does not repeat. And just to clarify the context of what he said with regards to photo taking by staff is that any photo taken by the staff is to cover general areas and areas that need attention or rectification. It is then shared in our operation group to communicate effectively and resolve issues. We do not take clear images of guests due to privacy concerns as what you have rightfully said. I regret this was not communicated clearly and would like to assure you that we will do better.

We have also taken note of the other issues mentioned and will do the necessary rectification. I apologize for our shortcomings and thank you once again for your input.
