Called in for brunch whilst in the area. First time I have eaten southern food and was given great advice by an excellent waitress. I had the chicken with biscuits which was very good. This place has an excellent vibe and would certainly return next time in the area.

We have visited this restaurant 8-10 times

They must do something about the seating.
Most uncomfortable bar stools and table chairs in Mobile.

Kitchen was extremely slow

I had the chicken two ways with some type of green beans and a relish which ruined the dish
Trying to make too much happen with flavors that were off, chicken by itself was perfect
Wife had the flounder which was excellent

Great bartender who really knows his stuff

Try the chicken liver small plate, probably the best around

It will be a while but will probably try again
Seems to be loosing its edge

Having heard good reviews I was looking forward to dinner at this restaurant. I was with three business associates and we arrived around 7:15pm on a Thursday which was a busy time with most tables occupied. Our server was very friendly and professional but the wait time for the one serving of deviled eggs we ordered for an appetizer, was over 10 minutes. The dish itself was delicious. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of the Shrimp and Grits that two in our party ordered as the main course. This is one of the signature dishes at this restaurant and I was looking forward to enjoying their spin on this Southern classic. Alas, neither the shrimp nor the sauce was especially tasty and the grits were lumpy and swimming in the watery sauce. My dinner companions that ordered the Flounder and Pork fared better but the two of us with the Shrimp and Grits were unable to finish our meal. We might have asked for an alternative but unfortunately time did not allow us that option.

Had dinner here during our first trip to Mobile. Menu has lots of unique items for dinner. The waygu hanger steak is fantastic. It's a little on the pricey side but worth it. If you like pecans and pecan pie then the pecan tart is a must for dessert. We had the best server, she was very friendly and able to answer all of our questions.
