“Needs some southern hospitality!”

The food was good for the price. However, the menu is written on a blackboard that needs to be revised. If you are new to the restaurant, you must ask for assistance. When we got our food, we needed cream and sugar and were told where to find it instead of our waitress bringing it to our table. A bit of Southern hospitality is
needed.

Ron and I shared a BLT (homemade wheat bread), Broccoli Quiche, and a Chocolate Biscuit... All was very well prepared, tasty, and freshly served - except, the Chocolate Biscuit was nuked, which made it tough, albeit delicious. It is a nice place and the Staff was friendly and welcoming. We are here camping in our RV nearby at Joe Wheeler State Park.
Cafe Savanna is definitely worth visiting.

Great selection on the menu. Wish the employees were a bit friendlier to those of us that aren't from the area. But the food is great. Outdoor cafe area is very nice!

Their strawberry pretzel salad is delicious. Also the chicken salad is a great selection. Above all we enjoy their chocolate biscuit and gravy. Very pleasant and enjoyable

This café in the tiny town of Rogersville offers some of the best homemade bread & pastries anywhere. Just one block off US highway 72 between Huntsville and Florence, it is easy to get to. It is only open for breakfast and lunch. Sandwiches are served on thick sliced homemade breads baked fresh every day. They have two items on the list of "100 Things to Eat in Alabama Before You Die"--the chocolate gravy biscuit and the chicken salad. There is something for everyone to enjoy! The servers checked on us frequently, refilling our drinks and making sure we had everything we wanted. They have indoor and outdoor (street side) seating. We will return to Café Savanna whenever we are in the area.
