The hotel is very well located near the Shanghai Station and the subway lines. The hotel should have a clear set of maps for visitors to help them use the subway system which is cheap and terrific. Just needs to help guest be able to use it.
The room (Club Room) was spacious and had all facilities. The only problem was that the air-conditioning didn't really work and the room was very hot at night making sleep difficult. No matter what temperature was set it never changed. This needs fixing quickly as the weather gets hotter.
The Executive Club was good and the staff there very friendly and helpful. Food was good and kept coming during the night.
We enjoyed our stay there, but the air-con does need attention to make the stay comfortable.

Room Tip: Try a Executive Level Room.

A pleasant comfortable and clean room in the holiday inn style of hotel and by that I mean that apart from language and a few items on the buffet you could be almost anywhere in the world. We stayed two nights at the end of our tour so perhaps a reintroduction to the west. Perhaps reflecting Shanghai after all then. No faults found. Quiet room with no visible signs of wear and tear. Not memorable either. Polite staff.

... and not particularly clean. In fact, for USD 200 I expected a clean bathroom in a more spacious room. Furniture and decor are dated and there are no amenities worth mentioning at this hotel. If you want to stay close to the train station, pick a different place. I hope to never come back...

Hotel has a very grand reception hall but our room was old & dated toilet leaked air conditioning did not work in our room furniture tatty.The window in our bedroom was so filthy you could not see outside.Wifi very slow.We had booked 3 nights & only stayed 1 night.Staff we polite & helpful.

Convenient location (next to subway & train station) but room is not large & very little aircon. It is lucky that the temperature droped at night. Otherwise, we need to open window but it will be noisy.

Room Tip: It is better to choose room facing training station, not the road which will be noisy.
