We were staying in Guayabo and accidently discovered Colinas. We saw it had a restaurant and decided to try it. It was attractive, lovely setting. The waitress was friendly. We had a delicious meal which was continental with a hint of Tico flavor. It
was a great find when staying in Guayabo which has simple Tico restaurants.

This is a family run business and they were very welcoming and made my stay here the highlight of my trip to Costa Rica! The property is beautiful and there are four volcano hot springs pools to relax in. The room was also very comfortable and clean. There is a restaurant on site and the food was delicious! Very fresh - they raise chickens and make their own milk and cheeses. The best thing about Colinas del Miravalles is the family that owns the acreage. They were so kind and add to the character of the hotel. I hope I can visit here again!

An amazing property run by a warm and welcoming family. Private cabins, pools heated by hot springs, restaurant on site. Great location to explore the volcanoes in the area. We are so glad we stayed here!!

We stayed 2 nights right after New Years. A beautiful place. Our cabin was comfortable. We had a awesome view of the volcano from our front patio. The 3 thermo baths were wonderful. Our tipical breakfast was good. They serve local cheeses from a farm in Miravalles. The hotel grounds were well maintained and nice and green.Be ready for some wind depending on what time of the year you visit. We have been to all of the volcanos in the area and really enjoyed Miravalles. It's off the beaten path and less touristy. Worth a visit. Colinas del Miravalles is the place to stay . With only 4 cabins it's quant and charming. We had a great visit.

The ambience is incredible! Delicious food, beautiful hot water baths heated by the tallest volcano in the area. This place is run by the former Miss Costa Rica and it is delightful and stunningly beatiful.
