A lovely stay in lodges that felt like we were in the heart of the jungle - the howler monkeys, agouti, frogs, geckos and many bird calls were an amazing soundtrack to our stay, very special. A delicious breakfast and beautiful dinner, superb food and a top notch margarita. Such friendly staff and a gorgeous setting - we’d love to return here.

I liked this place but it seems like no one was trying to make it special. We stayed for three nights and hardly saw anyone else except for a few other people at dinner. The bungalow was clean but we could have used a small table or two to set our suitcases on. Finally got hot water on the third night. The wifi is very iffy. The pool is next to the road and though you don't really see the cars or people on bikes, you definitely hear them. They have no restaurant or bar service during the day but there are some nice places within walking distance to eat and have a drink. Was a nice place to stay but nothing memorable or special about it.

We stayed here 4 nights with our two kids. It's rustic, but that's what we were looking for. The restaurant was excellent for included breakfast and for dinners, and the front desk staff were helpful. We enjoyed the beach across the street.

Lovely staff, very helpful, but no sense of a management hands on presence. Beautiful well maintained gardens but property needs some vitality and upgrades for the price it charges.
Mattresses and lounge cushions very thin, uncomfortable; actually could feel the coil of a spring in bed.
No music, no food or drink service during the day; evening restaurant very expensive.
Breakfast never changed; same fruit, same eggs, same dry toast.

Beautiful quiet hotel in wonderful grounds 200 m by private track to the beach.
Lovely bungalow rooms.
Breakfast excellent .
Dinner superb. Excellent chef. Food is French style with Carribean flavours.
Wonderful ambience
Plenty of wildlife in the grounds. Bowler monkeys will wake you up at dawn.
Saw an agouti or two, poison dart frogs, and was amazed at the 60 metre high Ceiba in the gardens.
Pleasant secluded swimming pool to cool off in.

Room Tip: All lovely bungalows in the grounds
