This hotel is directly at the entrance to Manuel Antonio park and a very short walk to the public beach. It's not the fanciest hotel, but it is clean, has a nice pool area and great views of the Manuel Antonio park and beach. the food was decent. Sunset from the rooftop deck and pool was awesome. Happy hour on the deck at sunset watching the squirrel monkeys and white faced monkeys frolicking around in the trees was amazing. If you're interested in visiting the Manuel Antonio Park, this could not be closer!

Me and husband stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and also purchased the package with 3 excursions. It was the best decision ever! I was looking for a place where we didn't have to drive a lot. We got the private transportation from the airport to the hotel. The public beach was 3 minute walk, and even though we didn't swim there we went there every day early in the morning and before sunset for a walk. We were falling asleep and waking to the sounds of birds and ocean waves (slept with the balcony door open). We went to the Manual Antonio National Park for our 1st excursion and stayed there for the entire day after the guided hiking tour. We hiked on our own there and after that relaxed on a beautiful beach with calm water (great for swimming). For our 2nd excursion we went to the Mulguri waterfall and did horseback riding which was the best! For our 3rd excursion we went to the Savegre river to do white-water rafting which was amazing too! We had complimentary breakfast there every morning which could have been a little better perhaps. I would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends!

Room was clean and very convenient. Large shower heads and great water pressure. Very relaxing! The hotel is at the entrance of the park. Also it is a few minutes walk to the beach. Many very good restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. There is a rooftop pool and restaurant. Very good view from there also.

We spent two days at the Hotel San Bada just two weeks ago. The property is a gem. The rooms are well maintained and in excellent condition. The service by hotel staff was exemplary and the food served at both the roof top restaurant (sushi at night) and their main restaurant (The Congo) was well prepared. This property is right at the entrance to Manuel Antonio NP and it was a 1 minute walk to the entrance. It is also a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach in Manuel Antonio. The main pool at the hotel also was a very nice diversion after a day of trekking around the Park or at the beach!

Room Tip: All rooms face the ocean. The higher elevation, the better the view.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon. All the staff was beyond accommodating and helpful. We felt so spoiled and on top of the world. The location is beyond perfect. We spent a full day in the National Park exploring, saw a sloth, tons of monkeys, crabs, a shark!, raccoons, birds, and so much more!
The sushi bar was delicious! I had sushi every single night and had a dip in the adult pool while waiting. We watched the sunset every night from our amazing patio.
The breakfast every morning was beyond what we expected, there was always new options and we always left feeling full and satisfied.
The next best thing was the quick short cut to the beach! We went to the beach every day but the beaches at the park were absolutely stunning! Making this hotel the best to just walk to these one of a kind beaches!
There isn't enough positive words to describe how much we loved this hotel.
Thank you for helping us have the perfect honeymoon!

Room Tip: We stayed in a suite and it was well worth the extra money!
