Beautiful hotel with spectacular views and extremely friendly staff. The grounds are so beautiful with lots of colourful flowers and several pools, all of which have a view. There are birds, lizards and iguanas all over the grounds, which was fun.

The restaurant for dinner was delicious, it had a mix of cuisine, all very tasty. We would have liked to see a few more authentic Costa Rican dishes but the food we did have was lovely. They also serve sushi. Happy hour is good and cheap and there are such nice places to sit and have an evening drink before or after dinner.

There are many services at the hotel including their own tourist desk providing tours for the guests, golf buggies to drive you around the grounds, umbrellas everywhere for when it rains, a gym and spa, free shuttle bus to the national park and the beach, swim up bar, a kids playroom, mini golf, yoga classes twice a week, and were happy to do anything else that we needed.

Would definitely recommend to anyone!

An outstanding stay for 3 nights. Excellent dining and beautiful facilities. Wish we could have stayed here longer. We awoke one morning to the sound of howler monkeys in the trees outside our room, and enjoyed coffee watching the white faced monkeys as they played on the rooftops and trees. Wildlife was everywhere in this facility.

Such a class act from beginning to end!! We just visited Hotel Parador on the final leg of our 10 day tour of Costa Rica and it was amazing! The room, the view and the service were all exceptional. The grounds are well maintained and everyone at this resort treats you like gold.

There are beautiful pools and the most stunning beach I've ever seen within walking distance. Iguanas, monkeys, beautiful birds and butterflies everywhere! The sounds of nature each morning was amazing.

I will say I wish there were better food options. I would love to have experienced more tico food on site. The breakfast buffet was decent and lunch at Lafragata is nice but other than that I wasn't overly impressed with anything food wise. But again, everything else was so spectacular you won't be disappointed.

We were in town celebrating my husband's 40th birthday and Tatiana in Concierge was an angel and arranged something special.

The tour for Manuel Antonio is a must. The guide is wonderful and we learned so much. We could have easily stayed another week, so much to do!

This is such an amazing hotel, don't think twice, you won't regret it for a moment.

Can't wait to go back !!!!

We absolutely loved Hotel Parador!! The setting is beautiful, the staff is great, our suites were so nice! It is a wonderful place to relax after all the activities the Manuel Antonio area has to offer. Would love to go back again!

Room Tip: The suites with a view of the Pacific with a private jacuzzi were fantastic!

The Hotel Parador is located at the end of the Punta Quepos Road overlooking the ocean on two sides. The hotel has a Spanish Conquistador theme with coats of armor and model sailing galleons in the lobby. Unfortunately the room we requested was unavailable, but the staff more than made up for it by upgrading us to a Vista Suite in the new tower overlooking one of the three pools. (The main pool was drained for tile repairs, but the other two pools were open.) The room include free breakfast buffets which were served on a lovely patio overlooking the ocean. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and surrounded by jungle on all sides. Staff was very attentive and cheerful. All in all, an excellent experience even without a beachfront location.
