Lovely hotel and staff, fantastic location right next to the forest on one side and superb views over the Pacific on the other. Big (and I mean really big !) iguanas are regulars at the pool bar (but they are friendly...) and monkeys swing by in the evening.
Definitely worth staying in the premium rooms up on the hill - you are level with the canopy, which almost touches the walkway to the rooms, and we were lucky to have a sloth for company on our level for a day and most of the night - amazing photos !

Room Tip: Go for the premium rooms if you can - worth it for the view, the Jacuzzi on the balcony and, if you...

A very nice hotel with very nice grounds and several pools and a spa. The staff was extremely helpful with our booking and everything else we needed.
They have free shuttles to three beach or shopping. Los to do in the area with many vey nice restaurants nearby.

We stayed 9 nights in early September; this was our first trip to Costa Rica. The jungle/ocean view from the balcony in our Premium room was spectacular, and at least 8 species of birds, including toucans, visited the tree that was just in front of our balcony. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Parador has a lovely setting, great facilities, and amazing wildlife can be viewed on-premises; In addition to the birds, we saw lizards, boa constrictor, sloth, bats, raccoons, and of course the monkeys. Also, Parador's Manuel Antonio park tour was excellent (I think you can take the tour even if you are not a guest); Elias, our guide, was very patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and expert in spotting all sorts of exotic wildlife. It seemed to me that the other guides in the park often took Elias' lead in finding wildlife. However, the best feature of Parador is the warm and friendly staff - our stay was special because of Jimmy at the bell station, Cynthia at the front desk, Yermi at the swim-up bar (and he makes an amazing Mojito), and Maria in housekeeping who always ensured that we came back to an immaculate room. And special mention to Alonzo in engineering who quickly addressed our issue with a warm smile, among the many other Parador staff who were consistently friendly and helpful. Thank you, and we look forward to a return visit! Pura Vida, as Jimmy would say!

Room Tip: Premium room had a great view

What a nice hotel in the middle of the jungle and straight beside the pacific ocean
This hotel is in a beautiful location near the Manuel Antonio National Park.
You have strong wifi in every room and they provide a shuttle into the town, the beach (walking distance) and the beautiful and world famous National Park!
The room service is outstanding and very friendly like everyone in the resort.
And we loved the wildlife around; Iguanas, monkeys and so much more wildlife (even with some beautiful jungle walks)
We can’t recommend this hotel enough!
The food is awesome (try just normal french fries...yummyyyy) and the cocktails are sooo good!
We would definitely come back and if there was anything where we could complain, than the restaurant prices but even they are ok for the quality

Final stay in our Costa Rica trip and what a way to end. Staff were very welcoming and never failed to offer assistance. Rooms are well maintained and each evening a maid would attend to ask if we needed any additional items and offer late night chocolates! We were even called to ask how our day was and what the plans were for the next day!! Resident monkeys and sloth are amazing. Soo many good things to say and would highly recommend to any who are visiting Manuel Antonio! Pura Vida
