I've never stayed in a container before so the idea of an entire hotel built of them really intrigued!
The location is fantastic-- a five minute walk to the park entrance, with free parking.
The rooms are long and skinny, as you'd expect from a shipping container! I found them a bit more spacious than anticipated.
The infinity pool and rooftop bar/restaurant have lovely views. The complimentary breakfast was tasty and filling-- fresh fruit plate, with your choice of eggs or pancakes.
A few critiques: the rooms are made of steel and stacked on each other, which means you may hear clattering from other units. We would have liked screens on the patio doors so we could keep the doors open, and the bugs out. Be aware that there are a handful of rooms that don't have views or much privacy. We were initially put into a disabled-access room right off the pool. It was bigger-- but had no private patio and was right off the pool. Fortunately hotel staff were gracious enough to relocate us to a room with balcony. All in all a worthwhile and interesting stay!More
