Had a business lunch today and the food was fresh and well appointed. The Ceviche on Patacones were great. Love the Fish & Chips as the battered fish was crisp and tasty. We missed some desserts not available and the Oysters I wanted. Service was good and the value too.

Creative and unique flavors with Caribbean fresh seafood. I highly recommend this place. My favorite dish is the grilled octopus.

I loved this restaurant, its very nicely decorated, the colors and all the details even on the menus are really good. The food was amazing, we had 4 different things and they all were great, the service was also amazing. And all for a good price.

I spent a number of days in Escazu over the past month and found this brand new restaurant in Plaza Tempo, location of upscale offices and the Holiday Inn. I ate in the restaurant twice and had their take-out twice.

All of the food was really good. With my taste for fish and shellfish, I could probably eat there every day. The dishes i tried include: Thai Seafood Soup, Atun Crispy (seared tuna over soba noodles), aguachili (Sinaloan shrimp ceviche) and beer battered fish & chips. A very eclectic menu in Costa Rica.

This is the owner chef's second restaurant; he and his wife have another, different place in San Pedro. The staff is excellent.

I can't wait to go back. Rather than just a convenient place for Hospital CIMA, the Holiday Inn and Avenida Escazu, Porto8 should be a destination in itself.
