My husband and I stayed here in June for 3 nights while on our Alaska sightseeing vacation. Julie and Steve were wonderful hosts and we fell in love with their dog Tess! The view of glaciers across the bay is amazing and in the main living area some high powered binoculars allowed us an even better view. Julie and Steve were very helpful in guiding us around town. Breakfast was wonderful and more than enough to get an active day started in Homer. The rooms were slightly small but more than adequate for our needs and were very nice. They were nice enough to plug in an extra freezer in their garage so we could store our frozen Halibut during our stay, which helped us avoid additional storage costs. We would love to return to Homer some day and would definitely stay at Crane's Rest again!
