We've stayed at Paula's B&B several times over the past few years, typically in early May for the Shorebird Festival. The place is clean, spacious, and convenient to downtown Homer. Paula is the most wonderful person and prepares the best breakfast in all of Alaska; she is the beat Alaskan host you can ask for. She is especially good at accommodating special diets (my partner has celiac disease and must eat gluten free). The beds are very comfortable and the common room downstairs is great for relaxing after your adventure or for hanging out and drinking coffee on a rainy day.
Be sure to reserve well in advance during the summer as this is a very popular place to stay at.More
