We wondered past a few same-same beach front places until we discovered Hayriye's and once you're here you probably won't bother going anywhere else!
Beautifully decorated like nothing else, loving care and attention has been put into the menu - a lot of which was grown in their own gardens - from the beans tomatoes and rocket to the lemons and limes in their amazing homemade lemonade (warning: zingy!!). We had a 'light' lunch of pancakes (try the aubergine, carrot and pumpkin one for something a bit different but delicious) beans, stuffed peppers and a mixed salad that was somehow basic and luxurious, dotted with fresh basil and toasted almonds. We were encouraged to pour on some olive oil and home made pomegranate molasses as a dressing. With drinks bill was 90 for four and we were stuffed. Quite the most charming place on the beach.
