We booked our Honeymoon Package for French Polynesia with the greatest Travel Agency ever! Pacific for Less. They took such superior care of us. We loved the hotels they chose for us and the Over the Water Bungalows they booked especially at Le Meridian was so gorgeous it was truly a dream come true.

The staff at Le Meridian was fantastic and took care of all of our needs and made our stay there a pure pleasure.

The property at Le Meridian is so large that any type of experience whether snorkeling, paddling, lounging or one of the many excursions offered can be realized.

If you are considering a trip to French Polynesia please do not hesitate to contact Pacific For Less you will be happy you did. We are and will use their services again.

This Le Meridien is very good. Correct service, excellent location, great sttaf (mainly in the beach) and reasonable food. But the hotel, whatever the chosen one on this side of the island, honestly, this is a detail near the unparalleled beauty of the place.

Le Meridien at Bora Bora was amazing. We stayed there for our honeymoon in September 2012, and had an amazing time. The staff is very helpful, the food is excellent, and the resort is beautiful. We stayed in an overwater hut, which was incredible. The beaches, snorkeling, and other activities at the resort are great- make sure to take advantage of the Turtle sanctuary, free snorkeling and sailing and kayaking, etc.

My husband and I stayed at Le Meridien Bora Bora for 6 days in September (13th-19th). We booked via Pacific 4 Less (Jennifer and the rest of the staff there were so helpful and patient with us). We were picked up at the airport and transported via private boat to the hotel itself. The boat crew were very friendly, polite, and fun. The resort looks so majestic as you approach it from the lagoon and to the dock, we were greeted by a few staff members and live music.

We were brought to the Game 'Room' which is an open air room (as the entire Resort is open air) and were given refreshing towels and drinks. We were promptly checked in and only had to wait an hour for access to our Overwater Bungalow. Leslie, our 'guide', was efficient and friendly when showing us around the resort and completing our check in process as well. Laurence and your activities director were so accommodating as well.

We were picked up via golf cart and driven to our OWB and given a tour and brief description of all the amenities. The room was clean and spacious, with a great view of Mt. Otemanu from our deck. Now, the only difference with the bungalows is the view, the interior/exterior are the same. We were in the first row of bungalows, but had a beautiful unobstructed view of the mountain.

Not much going on under the bungalow other than the abundance of massive sea urchins, be careful where you step/swim, we recommend water shoes as well just in case.

Room was always clean, towels always refreshed, and mini bar stocked. We used the mini bar quite a bit as the prices of drinks were cheaper vs. at the actual restaurants.

The property and the beach were stunning. Very clean and well kept. Everything was easily accessible, free towels, snorkel equipment, you had the option of 2 lagoons to relax at and snorkel through, the turtle sanctuary was very educational and entertaining, and the pools offered great views of the lagoon and mountain.

The staff was so friendly too, with the exception of the buffet and a la carte.

As much as we loved the resort, we don't think we'll stay here again. First off, the buffet, whether it be breakfast or dinner was nothing compared to the Hilton's. I understand it's a different class of hotel but my opinion is based on this: food was over or undercooked, not replenished, not much variety for specific dietary needs, and over salted. The staff seemed disinterested and easily distracted as well. This went for all the days we had breakfast and dinner. We opted for room service most nights because of this.

Room service: Food was perfect and delivered promptly. Thank you to James, our server. You were very friendly and helpful.

Lunch: Te Ave, absolutely amazing. Food was wonderful and staff were so friendly and attentive. Our compliments to the chef as she is very good at what she does (she cooked a fish we caught on a boat trip, cooked to perfection).

Hanalei at the Turtle Sanctuary was very informative, friendly and energetic. You can't help but appreciate the time and energy he spends on helping these turtles out. Thank you for your love of nature and caring personality.

After we had booked our honeymoon, I began reading reviews on this hotel. I tend to give each hotel the benefit of the doubt as I know many people are picky or sometimes just miserable and want to leave a bad review. I went with an open mind and unfortunately I hate to have to agree with the comments on the food/service.

Now, I know how this goes. A complaint is written on here and the general manager will respond apologizing etc. Acknowledging the issue is very much appreciated, but please please do something to correct the behaviour. Too many reviews have the same comments about the service/food at the buffet. There must be some disconnect between the kitchen and wait staff or management. Of the 6 days were were there, only 1 day we received great service by only one of your staff members at the buffet. I wish I had taken note of her name.

Many people that we had spoken to on the resort were disappointed that they could not enjoy a meal overlooking the inner lagoon or main lagoon because the food and service were so poor. The property and the staff outside of the buffet were phenomenal, I commend them on their excellent customer service and hope that they are rewarded for their excellence. In hind sight, we should have dined on the main island each night.

Again, to the management team, your resort is beautiful and clean and friendly. Absolute paradise, but please do something about the buffet/a la carte food and staff. We hope to return to Bora Bora in the near future and would like to give your property a second chance as it was the most beautiful.

Room Tip: Choose an OWB on the inner part of the lagoon as it's the best view of Mt. Otemanu.

My family didn't actually stay at the hotel, but we did visit the hotel to see the sea turtles. We didn't have any issues getting to the hotel, the boats were right on time. We were greeted right away with a smile and quickly checked into the resort activity. We thought we'd just get a chance for my son to see the turtles being fed, but because we arrived a few minutes early we were given the chance to swim with the turtles. it was amazing. As part of the activity, we didn't have full access to the resort, but when the activity lead could see my two year old son was hungry he asked if we wanted to have lunch at the hotel. We took him up on the offer and were very happy since all we had was a handful of gold fish crackers (they weren't for the turtles).
