This hotel was part of a tour so I had no input into the booking. Would I stay again?.....absolutely not! Thankfully it didn't affect our enjoyment of our tour as we weren't in the room for long but did stay 2 nights. On entry the carpet was dirty. The room smelled of something unidentifiable but it wasn't pleasant & we wonder if it was perhaps from a previous animal in the room as they allow pets. We didn't complain as it seemed quite full & we knew we weren't there long. We opened the window as there was no a/c but the room was hot at 76 degrees & the bathroom was much hotter. On the plus side we dried washing really quickly!!
I always wore shoes on the carpet & the whole place was generally tatty & dated. The bathroom walls had flaky paint & there was no bath plug (luckily we always travel with one). A good point was storage & there was plenty of surface space for bags etc.
It was located right near the main road but with little traffic the noise level was low.
There was good, secure wi-fi so it wasn't all bad.
Our plastic glasses were used but not replaced & there was only coffee, no tea. This is becoming increasingly common in the US.
There was a microwave & fridge but the fridge wasn't plugged in which we didn't realise until after we had placed our milk, salad, fruit & yogurt in it ready for our meal the next day. We weren't pleased to find that we had to throw it all out when we got back after a beautiful day out!! Luckily Safeway is right behind the hotel.
I am marking 'average' for value but being on a tour really have no idea what was paid. It wasn't worth that much so I may be being generous as it cost us money for wasted food!!

Very rustic. There are a number of rooms in one block so there is a cabin like affect. We didn't hear anything from the road. Not a lot of wildlife but the scenery was beautiful. It is quiet, but then again it was in the low season. I would recommend this hotel.

Some poor customer service highlighted on you tube regarding booking cancellation - need to look at the bigger picture not take advantage of a customer's unfortunate circumstances - shame on you. Hope they can use a common sense approach in the future.

We returned here after having an amazing 5 star dinner here a year ago. They have lost that chef. Do not get the fish and chips -- way overdone and yet greasy and soggy at the same time. We ordered sushi appetizer. Appeared after our entrees were finished. Do not recommend.

Very tired needs bringing up to date, rooms red hot at 40 degrees , couldn't turn down the heating, was given two fans but still didn't help as was hot outdoors, not a bad area for travelling through,
