Decided to eat out at Fahrenheit as it has a good name. We all Ordered snails which was well prepared. I ordered for the main meal a medium rare prego and egg fillet with a variety of vegetables. The meat was tender and and cooked to perfection. The carrots and beans were still on the raw side. The other three family members meat was also done to their perfection but the vegetables were also slightly raw. But other than that a lovely meal in general with a good portion of vegetables included compared to other restaurant. They are slightly more expensive than the normal steak restaurants. Waiters were friendly and helpful.

We have visited Fahrenheit since it opened its doors, way back, and we always thought that it is the best restaurant in the Benoni area. Ordering steak or seafood, we were never disappointed. Also our family visiting from England on a yearly bases, always request that we at Fahrenheit’s at least once.
The food, the atmosphere and the service were always beyond reproach.
Unfortunately, the last two visits, were different. The atmosphere and the service are still the same, put there is definitely something different with the food; the sparkle has gone out of it. Where before is was kind of special, now it is simple and basic steakhouse food. What went wrong?
My favorite, a succulent medium rare rump is nowadays full of grizzle and well, very ordinary.
It’s a shame, because you had something really special going for you.

We made a booking at Fahrenheit Benoni to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. I thought i could take my husband and sons some where special and intimate to celebrate this milestone occasion.

The sitting area was very beautiful. We wanted a whole hour for our meal to arrive. Hardly saw the waiter and my husband had to go look for the Manager to see why our food was taking forever, when it finally arrived it was ICE COLD and had to be sent back to be reheated - been a shellfish platter the prawns and shellfish were absolutely soggy after they reheated it and put us of our food completely - an absolute waste of R500

We never bothered to order dessert or coffee as it was already so late and were scared it would take another hour to arrive.

After spending nearly R1000 for a meal that was cold and kids that were tired it was a rather disappointing evening ...... wont bother to go back again!!!!

Large and busy restaurant, ideal for families (especially those with young children because of the large play area), wide variety of food at very reasonable prices (especially the daily deals! )and good service .

We were in SA for holiday, and went to have dinner with friends. The place they recommended was Fahrenheit. Not disappointing at all. The food was excellent and service was good. There is a play ground within the premises and you cab have dinner on the patio while you can keep the kids in eye range. The steaks and succulent. Service was fast en the drinks were cold. They have a section for the kids where they can prepare their own meals. Something new to me. They are supervised and have a menu that they can choose and the toppings are given and they can built their on pizza. A good place to visit. The people tend to eat and go. We are used to have a great night out and have few drinks and enjoy the company. It seems that most of the diners do not do that. Eat, pay and go. Fahrenheit will be on our list next time we are in SA.
