We spent three days here, before and after a safari, and the hotel blessedly held two suitcases for us with the clothes we needed in London after the safari. Our room was large and comfortable with good lighting and a spacious bathroom. We spent our first night here after back-to-back Boston to London and then London to Johannesburg flights, and it was a relief to sit in the garden after that ordeal and before our next flight the next day. A small commercial area with two good restaurants is just across the street, and the hotel's own restaurant was delicious as well. Every person who works there was friendly and cheerful, and the bartender was our favorite. The hotel has a small gift area, a pool, a garden, and outside seating for the restaurant. This is the hotel I would stay in should we return to Johannesburg. Thanks to Audley Travel for booking it.
