What a delightful experience this was. Tucked away in Blairgowrie, this slice of France is well worth the trip. The food is fresh and prepared with love and flair. The croissants are light and flaky and the menu is well thought out and tasty. The decor is a visual feast and it is the kind of place that you want to show off to friends. Whoever created this space and business must have a beautiful mind.

We thank you for your positive response and favourable comments. The work produced at Patisserie de Paris is very much a result of team work and your comments will go a long way to motivate the staff teams, both in service and in the kitchen.

The best coffee and croissants (and other delicious offerings) in Randburg. I'm not the biggest fan of eggs, but I'll have their scrambled eggs every time; they're that good. Their onion tart is also unbelievably yummy, as is their baked-daily bread. The waitstaff are great, and it's a funny/nice feeling when they know your order on sight of you :) The cheese deli is another gem - the staff are knowledgeable and the offerings delicious. Worth the visit and the wait for a table.

In Johannesburg, we live under the misconception that Fournos is as good as it gets in pastry. PdP raises the bar in a limited but joyful range of French pastries, breads and particularly croissants. The coffee is top notch, and the menu à point! The funny little premises is decorated as best as can be within its limitations with sincere French charm & panache. We love going here, but we often forget about it tucked away in a side street. We should make the effort though- they do, and they deserve support.

Best stop for a brunch or lunch baguette in Jozi. I always make a point of dropping in when I'm in town and am never disappointed. Super friendly staff and super consistent quality. Great coffee and juices as well. Throw in a lovely al fresco setting and you get the picture. Awesome.

This bakery cum French deli cum restaurant has blossomed from a rose bud into a full bouquet of flowers. Besides the baked treats made with integrity and according to French principles by the accomplished patisserie chef, a variety of French deli products are on offer as well as a large restaurant area serving breakfast from early, and lunch. Seating is inside our outside.

One morning on my way to work I decided to skip the queues of traffic and stopped for a croissant and coffee. I love the way the Parisians destruct a plain croissant by tearing it into pieces and dipping it into a small cup of strong coffee. Ever since visiting Paris, I do the same.

The croissants are simply gorgeous. Hand reared, beautiful, flaky, buttery and just perfect. The coffee too is worthwhile. The only negative is that the decor requires a designer touch.

Ideal for a business or social breakfast or lunch, as long as your adore freshly baked, buttery eats.
