If it's good food and atmosphere you want this is a must... The old Boere Memoribilia are fantastic. Service is good and food above average.

Dishes were disappointing and lacked inspiration and taste. The service was terrible and the prices just not justified.

So we decided to go and give Bistro't Boergeoisie a try, having heard good things about it. We unfortunately chose a Saturday afternoon to do so. Now Saturdays are somewhat of a nightmare at Greenlyn Village, due to the flea market that it hosts. Parking is impossible to find, and all the other restaurants in the complex were bursting at the seams with queues of would-be diners outside.

One would think that Boergeoisie would take advantage of all the feet visiting its complex on a Saturday at lunchtime. One would however be wrong. Boergeoisie, bizarrely, is closed over lunch on a Saturday! Do its owners perhaps have so much money that a full restaurant would merely complicate their tax affairs?

Really disappointing.

The restaurant is full of old trinkets and artifacts from days gone by. The food is well worth the money - and is still old school. Loved the pie for dinner. Kids menu also good, and has elements of the old school food.
