Honestly, I would like to give them 3,5 stars, but rounding it up as the staff is very lovely and helpful.
We stayed a week in the self-catering cottage. Our first impression was that it has a lovely view and well maintained. It had a lovely balcony to sit on and enjoy the view (but the chairs could be a bit more comfortable, especially since my butt is a bit larger than average and only just fit in the chair). It was equipped with most things we needed, although we were surprised matches weren't provided while it is a gas cooker and the fridge wasn't turn on before we arrived. However the bed is quite uncomfortable (very hard mattress with soft pillows).
Although it probably is based on previous experience of what people did, it was kind of annoying to find notes everywhere what you were not allowed to do. Maybe put them together in one welcome folder with house rules and explanations as well as some ideas of things to do in the area? Personally I found it a nuisance that you can't turn of the tv (because of the moisture). The reason might be very valid, but not having a tv at home as I like the peace and quiet and even though the sound was off your attention keeps on getting drawn to the screen.
Apart from those minor things we had a lovely stay. The place offers great views, two baie lekker pools and a lovely atmosphere. The food they offer in their restaurant is of great quality. The staff is very friendly and helpful (and a special mention to Reena who was very nice and always smiling and chatting with us and even brought the ordered food to our cottage twice!).
An idea is to maybe let your staff do some of the activities you offer, so they can tell more about it (the companies should offer it to them at no cost so they will be sold). I spoke to two people and they couldn't really answer questions, but were helpful enough to phone the place and ask them. Selling activities works much better if you know what you are selling :).

We stayed here for 3 nights. Very close to the sea. Great affordable food and drinks.
My only gripe is the lack of comfy furniture and couches to just chill out and lay back in. All the seating was upright restaurant style or hard benches. I will still be back though.

We found this hostel by chance and it became the favourite place we stayed during our south africa trip. For little money you get lots of service, nice views, clean rooms and much more. Quite close to the beach you also find relaxing spots in the big garden with two pools. You can either buy meals or cook it yourself in a big kitchen and eat in on an amazingly big deck with direct sea view. We will definitively go there again and so should you!

Lovely helpful staff, very nice rooms, very clean. Views of the beach from decking area. Nice restaurant. There was a Zulu cooking lesson going on the night we stayed and it seemed they always had something planned to entertain there guests. Shared kitchen for guests. Swimming pool. Baz bus stop!! Would recommend!!
