A comfortable relaxing place to stay. Lovely owners that really care about both their guests and the bird life. Sue feeds the birds so they come in at breakfast giving excellent photo opportunities. She also bakes rather well!

My husband and I booked for 4 nights. We had a fabulous stay - relaxing, informative, quiet and were entertained by beautiful Knysna Loeries and many species of birds next to our Breakfast Table each morning. This is a an experience to remember!

Phil and Sue are amazing hosts - so welcoming and added to our tranquil stay. Sue has a wealth of knowledge of the surroundings and gave us invaluable tips of where to to visit and to eat - all experiences were very worth it! She is also an amazing chef! Thank you for spoiling us, Sue!
We will definitely be back and highly recommend the Kingfisher Country House - It is our preferred destination along the Garden Route! Merlene & Herman

Room Tip: We stayed in the Lavendar Room - Beautiful and quiet

Sue and Phil are lovely hosts. We spent our first 2 night here as we toured the Garden Route and immediately felt welcome . The breakfasts were an absolute delight with freshly baked muffins on offer. We were able to sit a wonder at the amazing bird life which visited the tree close by every day. Sue was also a font of information , her recommendations were second to none and we had 2 fantastic service meals thanks to these. It is also worth notice greatly that we could use a local taxi service at a reasonable price. Sue also gave us plenty of local information and information about the other places we intended to visit on our trip .....all invaluable . Many thanks

Room Tip: Although no views ....the views of the birds were stunning and we really enjoyed this .

Friendliness of the hosts and helpful advice for hiking in the environment. Birdlovers will love to have breakfast on the veranda next to many exotic birds. Place is quiet, but also not far from restaurants.

Wonderful views of birds as you eat your breakfast. Turocos in the trees, plus a host of other birds.

Charming hosts who were pleased to give any information on the local walks. Breakfasts were indeed hearty. Excellent bedroom with plenty of room.
