I stayed here in August for three nights. The driveway to the car parking area is absolutely treacherous and I should have paid more attention to the reviewer that highlighted this problem. It was so awkward to manage this driveway that we planned our days in such a way as to not return to the premises at all except to go to bed. I refused to allow my daughter to negotiate this horrendous driveway any more than absolutely necessary.
The room had a lovely view and the breakfasts were very nice. The breakfast area had patio doors that opened to a terrace and these were opened every day - which was very nice.
I found it extremely strange that our bedrooms were serviced while we were at breakfast. Every time we went up to our room, after breakfast, to get ready for our day out we found that the staff were in there making up the room. I have never seen this happen before - in hotels, guest houses or B&Bs. I would suggest that the staff would be asked to start on the rooms later in the morning.

Rooms have standard features. Shower only in the room we got. Kitchenette was ant infested. Bedroom and shower very small even for a petite person like myself. The host was very welcoming, accessible and warm. The view is beautiful. Dining hall was clean.

My room was clean and airy. The most amazing sea view. The weekend was a bit cold and windy but we made the most of it. Erika was a wonderful host always a smile on her face. Breakfast was delicious, no complaints. The driveway is a bit scary though. If you have a low vehicle in the front it will be a challenge to go up. We have a SUV and was a bit of a mission. The best places to eat was Mozambik and Salt Rock Hotel. Divine food at the hotel and prices are reasonable for food and drinks.

Room Tip: All rooms are sea view facing. Very quiet and peaceful

Hi Penelope

How refreshing that senior citizens such as yourselves (despite physical limitations), were able to look past the steps and steep driveway to give us such a glowing 10/10 review !
It was a pleasure having you and Eileen spend time with us and a FullHouse of Guests who were so taken by your engaging conversation and personality
We were indeed sorry to see you both go but were delighted that you spent your time to the full whilst here and look forward to your 'speedy' return

Warmest Regards and Many Thanks
HErbie and Erika
