I booked at this hotel because of the rate. It was the cheapest for that weekend for a one-night stay. I wasn’t expecting much. I really just wanted a clean room and a decent location. I got just that. The hotel was clean and the folks who worked there were accommodating and helpful. We had 2 rooms, one was updated and the other was not. The updated rooms were a bit nicer, but both rooms were clean.

Stayed for 2 nights this last week, because they offer dog friendly rooms. There is an extra $15 charge per night for this, and in fact, they tried to double charge us that rate, but we caught it and they reversed extra charge. Hotel is somewhat below standard for us. Bathroom was not cleaned well as there was cookie wrapper under sink and long dark hairs in tub. Yuck. Lastly upon leaving, we forgot our dog rug. When I called later that day, they had already put it to laundry. No attempt was made to contact us. When I asked them to ship the rug to me, manager wanted $25 in addition to shipping charges. Way too much money. Should have been done as a customer service. Rooms were pricey for the condition of hotel, beds, and cleanliness. Probably would not stay there again.

Dear jamaicameonemoretime,

Thank you for taking the time to give us valuable feedback. I want to first extend my apologies for the unintentional double charge for your pet. Our front desk associate was still in training at that time, and the mistaken charge was reversed as soon as it was seen. We would absolutely never intentionally overcharge our guests, and I do want to apologize for the error.

In regards to items left behind in our rooms- we are happy to hold items for you, but we do charge a nominal fee for mailing things back. We are a small family run business, and the time that our employees spend packaging, labeling, and driving items to the post office is time that is taken away from serving our hotel guests.

I am pleased to announce that we are now embarking on a renovation project in which we will be replacing all of our hallway carpets, guestroom floors, and beds. I do hope that you would consider giving us another try the next time you are in Havasu. We wish you safe travels.

Best,
Mike

We have stayed here several times. It’s always our hotel of choice for our lake trips. It’s clean, typically a good price, the owner is friendly and the complimentary breakfast is great for grabbing a bite to eat before heading out for the day. We spend the majority of our time in Havasu on the water but once we head in for the night, it’s always nice to go back to a cool, clean hotel.

This motel lost our reservation and had to scramble to find a room for us. I booked and paid for a queen suite. Ended up with a SMALL king bed accessible room. Very uncomfortable for two adults and a 3 year old. Don't be fooled by the lobby - it is nice and remodeled - the rest of the place needs a new coat of paint at the least. I now know the drama of two different families due to the thin walls and did not enjoy the square dancing group in the room above us.
