I was just looking for a beer in a wine town and this was a welcome spot. They had a limited food menu but the beer was cold, varied and served by good staff. Nice spot and I did go back

A very big thank you to Annastacia for being so friendly and for recommending which meals to choose - she is such an asset to the pub.
We sat outside under the trees - a warm, cosy setting and my pup was allowed.
The menu has a nice variety of "pub meals" from baskets with with strips and chips to burgers and eisbein.
The eisbein is a definate must - huge portion with mash - but worth it.
The chicken snitchel it the most succulent chicken breast cooked to perfection.
The potato wedges with the curry mayo is fantastic.
This is my 3rd visit here and will be back again - keep up the good work

This pub is located in a courtyard behind the French Connection. It is a very traditional pub style property with a good selection of beer and reasonably priced local wine.

We had a light lunch here. The pub is in the middle of town, but set back from the main street. We had a table in the courtyard area, which was perfect for lunch, cool and with good shade. There are a good range of choices on the menu, from light bites and snacks to full meals. Service was excellent and efficient.

Seemed very popular with the young on a Friday night and a pleasant place to enjoy coffee and drinks in a shady courtyard after the market and shops on Saturday morning.
