Gosh, where to begin. I booked through Groupon, and as always, checked the website to make sure the salon is legit. I've been driving past this place for years and I've always thought of it as a really upmarket salon. It's right next to the Fire and Ice Hotel, so you'd think it would be great. Turns out, it just LOOKS great from the outside, inside is another story. When I made the booking I dealt with Stuart (the owner, I think - or just a REALLY REALLY bad receptionist). He is snooty and rude - really not the type of vibe you'd expect from a salon. I figured what the hell, he's probably just having a bad day, and booked in any case (an aromatherapy massage for my partner and myself).

Arriving at the salon, we were shuttled into a veeeery small, veeeeery dark room (I couldn't properly see where the tables were it was so dark) and offhand told to please remove our clothes. This was done by two giggling therapists - one leaning in by the door, the other shouting from reception we must please leave on our underwear. Really. Shouting from reception. We weren't offered anything to drink, or asked where our problem areas where (as you'd expect from a massage).

The massage was mediocre, I'm guessing both the girls were still in training - hence the Groupon price. I had to ask her to adjust the pressure a couple of times - too soft on the areas that need a firm touch, and waaay too hard on the soft spots (I came away with some bruising on thighs and upper arms). Also they were giggling most of the time, leaving me uncomfortably wondering why. Very unprofessional.

All in all, I won't go there again. Won't recommend that anyone go there. Also will not buy Groupon again - but that's my silly mistake. In my experience most salons that are on Groupon, are there for a reason - they are sub-standard and looking for extra business. Lesson learnt!

Waited forever, massages were painful instead of relaxing, room was tiny and dirty. Staff were unfriendly.

i booked an appointment because a friend gave me a massage gift through groupon and as I was approaching the place on the day of my appointment, I called 5 minutes prior to make sure I was in the right place. The receptionist told me in a very rude tone that I was not scheduled for any appointments and that I was not even in their system. I told him that I was 100 percent sure that I had the appointment booked 3 weeks ago and I recognized his voice since he was the one who booked it. He was just rude and not helpful at all and told me to redeem my groupon voucher! 1 day later my friend that got me the voucher as a gift told me she got an email saying my voucher was redeemd, as if I had gotten the service! what Hilton spa did was DISGUSTING! they obviously had me in their system since they were the ones that redeemed the voucher (I only gave them my groupon voucher number on the day I booked the appointment). PEOPLE ARE RUDE , DO NOT GO THERE!

Strange vibe when we arrived, massages started late but no one there said anything about it, the massage therapist didn't ask if I had any preferences or trouble areas, the room we were in was way too small for a couples massage and the massage table I was on kept getting shifted so she could get around me, massage wasn't great, and what was supposed to be a 60minute massage lasted leas that 45min. Oh, and the speaker in the room was buzzing loudly the entire time. 😡
