Never done B&B in a Guest House abroad so this was a new experience.
Huw and Zoe great hosts even though Huw is an Everton supporter from Anglesey.
Comfortable rooms etc - a verandah room seems to be the best situated along a small path fenced off with flowered bushes it is lovely to see the hummingbirds feeding on the nectar.
Really good breakfasts and really close to two good restaurants. Jemimas was excellent - about £30 for 3 courses wine and beer etc. and Bella Choi is a local African quirky restaurant - a bit rough around the edges were you can get zebra springbok etc but two really good sized steaks beers water and win @ £20.00.
A visit to Cango caves is a must and the Ostrich farm is good fun - even for two sixty year olds.
The circular drive around the pass is well worth doing and if it is dry you don't need a 4X4 - I had a Toyota Corolla and saw a few Hyundai I10 making the trip. The return last 10k is spectacular. Just take your time @ 20kph and you will be fine.More
