I had three nights at this location and slept well as the rooms have all that one needs and comfortable beds.

The staff were helpful and pleasant.

I ate in the restaurant on two nights and on both occasions was the only diner at the time I was eating. The food was of reasonable quality and the menu relatively short. I was disappointed that on both occasions the wine I ordered was not available and had to be substituted.

The breakfasts were also pretty quiet - one family of three on one day and on the other two I breakfasted alone. I was surprised as the breakfasts were pretty good and I had been led to believe that the hotel would be very busy.

If you are in the area this is perfectly adequate accommodation that is close to the places you'll want to visit.

Good for sleeping and nothing much.Had a noisy bunch on the passage while i was there and it felt like the walls were very thin. Clean rooms but they need some upgrading. Nothing special about this place. Reception needs some revamp. If you want a wow place this is not it.

Nice hotel near Stellenbosch, clean rooms, reasonable rates, but the best part was the wonderful front counter assistance received. Especially, from the courteous and helpful lady by the name of; Patience Tshuma and her coworkers. Will return on our next visit.

Situated in the town , well known for art, education and wine--one expected this outfit not to be shabby.Festive season it was, so all revellers were looking forward to a memorable vacation.

The first hiccup was poor reception in lieu of WI-FI.A receptionist called SAMANTHA, seemed to understand the issue---- she however became tangential with every guest trying to spend thirty minutes !!!!!!!

The grading of the same hotel is four star

I am sceptical to recommend it to anyone until they have secure parking, sort out wifi and make sure their receptionists understand their proper roles!!!!!!

Stayed for 2 nights, as a part of our Explore trip. The lodge is situated across from a spa and close to 3 restaurants. It is a good distance outside of Stellenbosch itself, so not within walking distance.

The lodge is nice, staff great and the breakfasts perfectly fine. Did not eat dinner here but had room service which was perfectly acceptable

The lodge itself has decent rooms a d bathrooms, some rooms having better views than others. Thete is a bar and pool (which was not very clean when we stayed but there was no sign to say don't swim. Not sure what was going on).

This pool issue let the place down a star from very good to average as would have wanted to use pool in the heat, otherwise decent enough accommodation that I would use again as in reality it should have had 4 stars.
