Small Balinese Bungalow Hotel on the water front in quiet location with great views and lush garden. Small Pool with deck and deck chairs.Accommodation was basic with fridge, TV and air-condition. Beds come with mosquito nets. Private Outdoor bathroom. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Simple but good Breakfast incl. complementary fruits and juice. Great place to stay for budget travelers and very good value for money.

Disgusting rooms

Additional pictures to previous review

I will not be returning, beware when booking and do so at your own risk. I would advise against it vut everyone had their own opinion and standards. This is way below mine.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was fine and everything worked. The view from our veranda was beautiful and the staff lovely. The setting is spectacular. It's very close to the township, an easy walk up the gang and you're in town. Unfortunately the pool was green and all the decking is in need of serious repair. We swam in the ocean out the front as there is a break wall and in the mornings it was like a giant swimming pool.

Room Tip: We stayed 1 night in room 806 then moved to 807 for the next 3 nights. The view from this veranda was beautiful

I was there with my dad, it was a nice hotel.
They have some variety of dinner and breakfast.
Also the outdoor bathroom is good.
But, i found the fridge didnt working, and the water heater is dirty.
And i thought its a resort and spa, but when i wanna try the spa, its actually not in the hotel, but in another area.
Well but the spa is amazing anyway

D' tungjung beach resort is very beautiful. It is near to the Main Street of the town of Candidasa. The resort have many clean cottages and offers a magnificent view of indefinite pool.

Far from the busy city life. Offers a nice quiet relaxing place where you can have your own space and a nice little cottage. The room had tv, security box and small fridge. The staffs are very helpful. Have the outdoor bathroom with shower which is unusual but new experience. The view of indefinite pool is simply breathtaking. The morning breakfast was very good with freshly made pancake.

Have to make sure that you locked the door properly. One mosquito entered into our bed despite of having mosquito net and we had couple of hard hours sleep during that night. We used our mosquito repellent spray which became useful to some extent. However, my husband didn't like the smell so we decided decreasing the AC. The top sheet was so thin that I was shivering for the rest of the night. So basically ended up covering myself with clean towels. Couldn't phone the reception for blankets as our phone line was dead and it was 3 am in the morning.

We stayed in room 108 which was far away from reception so there was no wifi signal. Plus, there were no channels in tv except the Indonesian which we didn't understand.

The indefinite pool was breathtaking however there were only few sunbeds.

Overall, the stay was pleasant apart from that night where we got bitten by mosquito. The hotel have the information pack where the visitors are informed about the doors to be closed especially at the evenings when mosquitoes are at high alert. But still, open bathroom at the back with the tropical plants creates a high chance of mosquitoes entering the room especially when it's raining. Have to make sure that one mosquito repellent and thick blankets are handy just in case.

Will recommend this resort if one would like to get away from busy life which consists of breathtaking view of indefinite pool. Many tourists attractions are within 1-2 hour distance. Amed which is about 1-2 hrs Scotty ride from this resort where snorkelling is just awesome.
