Easter dinner here tonight. We come from a fish oriented location in the US. I had the tuna, husband had the swordfish. Both prepared to perfection. The vegetables were perfectly done and everything seasoned to allow the flavor of the items to come through without being overwhelmed. Service was friendly and helpful and fun.

We enjoyed a delicious meal here just after Christmas. Despite there being just one waiter attending a packed restaurant, the service was faultless and very friendly. I chose the turkey in mushroom sauce and my partner opted for the chicken and prawns in garlic. Both meals were very good; however, the chicken/prawn sauce was probably one of the most delicious either of us has tasted in a long time. Forgetting our manners (we blame the wine), we used every last scrap of bread to mop the plate clean. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and hope to return next time we're in the area.

If you are in the vicinity of Burgau, Luz or Lagos make a stop here. Making a walk over the cliffs around Burgau we found this restaurant and visited it for dinner.

In november a lot of restaurants were closed, this one not. We surely did not regret our visit. In fact we went back for a second night.

The service was very good and the food wonderful. We had fish both dinners and if we would have stayed there longer we definitely would have gone for a third and even fourth time.

The main dish costs about 13-15 euro and the starters are 3-9 euro with a wonderful fresh made fish soup or shrimps. We had sol, swordfish and sea bass and it all was very good. Served with fresh vegetables and homemade french fries, desert had also some fresh made choices.

The Hors d'oeuvres were lovely. The people serving were charming and friendly. The local (fish) dishes were fantastic, especially several prawn dishes, monkfish etc albeit the cod very bony.

Being low season, some dishes were off, but on balance, we were pleased we came back having not got a table the previous evening.
