Had a fantastic 6 night stay at the Royal Marina hotel. Travelled with disabled parent and the Staff were all amazing. Very kind and friendly. Sea view adapted room was great, perhaps a walk in shower would have been easier to manage rather than the bath with a swivel seat, but that is just a personal opinion. Huge comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely, again, despite being busy all the staff were very kind and coffee was served promptly to the table .Great location. Very welcome break.

Some things a done really well here - beautiful spacious room, big balcony, whole place v clean. Staff are polite. Huge choice at breakfast. Was surprised that there was champagne available at breakfast but that the coffee served was instant. The indoor pool is small but this is probably fine when the outdoor pool is in use (which it wasn’t when we were there). The jacuzzi was cold and there is a 10 Euro charge to use the steam room and sauna which seemed a bit steep. We were really disappointed by the pool not being in use and the noise from the repair works - can’t be helped I guess but had a big impact on our holiday. The boat trip from the hotel to the nearby islands was brilliant - our highlight for sure. Not sure I would return here.

great place for a short break - ideal for couples - not a great family resort - we knew that before we went (so no kids)- very clean hotel - good breakfast buffet - nice indoor pool - minor issue they were sorting out the outdoor pool - so it was drained and lots of grinding tools to resurface it - but should be okay by the time this review is done - ideal for town - lots of small decent restaurants within 500m - we did taps - fish, steak & co - plus Mexican - and did a great boat trip in the rain - so bad it was funny - great guide - if you want a lovely clean hotel within reach of small local places - then enjoy we had a great laugh - the bar near the fish market on the corner with red seats does wine at 1.50 euros -

Room Tip: sea facing rooms - unless you like car parks

Arrived at the hotel to a lovely welcome, after a short 15 minute transfer. The hotel is very grand and stands out in this small town.
Room was lovely, massive bed, nice private balcony and a great bathroom, apart from hairdryer being in a few pieces.
Can't give 5/5 purely for reasons already mentioned. The tv, yes there is films available to rent but not sure who came up with the price of 10€ for a film.Common theme of few things overpriced, 3€ for a can of pop from minibar is steep and not much less for water, which surely in a '5star' should be provided every day?! No tea/coffee making facilities as others state.
The outside pool was being retiled, which is understandable to do it in march, but then to be told the indoor pool wasn't able to be used when we wanted, due to cleaning was a bit disappointing. 4:30pm,Surely do it after hours while the other is out of use.
So all in all a few minor issues that could be addressed, but overall a nice hotel, breakfast was fantastic, don't know what ppl moan about it for, and all staff we encountered were very polite and helpful. Prosseco and cake left in room for birthday, thank you.

Beautiful Hotel let down by two things only. No English Tv sorry but Sky News CNN and Discovery channel do not constitute English TV. For a 5 star hotel with 3 satelite dishes on the roof this is no good particularly as a large proportion of the guests are English and the week we stopped the weather was not great and we were both not feeling well. In this day and age it's expected. Also whilst the break fast was good the food does not stay hot enough in the metal dishes and the same can be said for the evening meal but in that case for me personally the selection could have been better but it was satisfactory
