We have just had a great two weeks holiday at the Voyage. We were given a good welcome even though it was the early hours of the morning. Our room was in the main hotel, very comfortable with a lovely sea view, it was cleaned, beds and towels changed, mini bar restocked daily. As in previous review the hairdrier is basic and in the bathroom, so if you have a complicated style take your own but I managed using it. There is a free spacious safe, easy to use in each room and plenty of cupboards, wardrobes etc.
The hotel is very multi national with british being in the minority for the two weeks we were there.
We were glad of the adult resturant, pool and beach as it was half term and there was always plenty of sun beds available although the towel run is much in evidence. We loved the adult beach as it was close to everything and you had the breeze keeping it easy to enjoy the day.
Beach towels were plentiful and could be changed when you liked so you do not need to take any. Its easier to go in the sea from the pier steps it avoids the stones and there is a lovely shower there to use when you come out.
All staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly although one thing they could not master was de-caff tea and coffee, we found they had a jar of coffee in the main building coffee lounge but had to fetch it ourselves as staff could not understand what we wanted- we had some funny combinations, so if you are a de-caffer like me you may need to take some with you, I took tea and made cups in the bedroom.
We enjoyed using the tractor and trailer that runs into Belek every half hour which was essential as shops in the hotel are so expensive, its only 1 euro to stop it and jump on. Make sure you check its your tractor when you return as there are two different routes.
One thing that upset my husband and myself and its nothing to do with the hotel is the glutteny of some guests, we used the main dining room (my husband called it the school canteen) some lunchtimes and watched as families wasted so much food e.g. I watched one mum let her son take 16 cakes because he did not know what he wanted, people were taking large dinner plates full to overflowing of cherries, yes they were lovely but no one needs that many, its all inclusive so you can go back for more, when some families left the dining room another could have sat down and fed themselves on food they had wasted. These were not isolated incidents, other english guests all said the same thing.
The couple who do the portrait painting in the main building are amazing, its great to watch them at work, its 70euros to having one done but so worth it.
Overall the hotel has everything anyone could want from a holiday and I would recommend it especially for families, I suppose the ages of the guests differ according to the time of year.
