We got the feeling the staff wasn't that thrilled to see us. The service was quite minimal.

Food quite tasty but also kinda pricy.

We read a lot of good things about this place but were disappointed. The steaks were only okay and the side dishes are not worth ordering. Service was okay but certainly not worth the service charge that automatically landed on our bill.

I remember this restaurant and I start crying because it's so far away. Amazing food at very convenient prices. Lovely waitresses and great local atmosphere.

A friend who grew up eating Sunday brunch here inviting me. The decor is rustic 1950's, other than the flatscreen television, which certainly was showing the Argentine World Cup game during theafternoon. We arrived at 830, place was empty. Within an hour, all tables for full. And it was a Wednesday.
Steaks are perfectly cooked and ample. Cream spinach and mashed potatoes sides were flawless. And from our perspective, although the place was jamming busy, service proved extremely efficient, and in terms of Buenos Aires, quite cordial. Also, we sat talking for over 2 hours, having just entrees and drinks. Never felt rushed to leave or move. Quite a nice change.
Looking for a place where locals eat? Where people turn their heads when you have a Spanish accent other than Portena? This would be a good choice.

The first night we went here, it was heaving with locals - always a good sign. However, they managed to accommodate us. The food is Argentinian/Italian. We had variations of steak with and without sauces. The wine was very reasonably priced. We returned the next day - a quieter night with the owner in mourning because Boca had lost to local rivals River. Another enjoyable meal was had.
