Situated some 10 mins walk from Plaza Italia, one of the most important public transport gateways in the northern Buenos Aires, it has a very good position in a quiet side street, however the quality is rather low. Rooms are very different, a single room is extremely small, dark and old, while family room (probably for up to 4 people) is better, however if it would be occupied by 4 people it would become extremely small too. The worst thing is the bathroom, there is only one in the property and during one of my visits it was very dirty and torn down. The receptionists often smoke in the reception with bad smell going upstairs. Breakfast is very basic and only available after 7:30 when fresh rolls arrive. Wi-fi and air-conditiong is working. But the staff is friendly and helpful, that is why I gave them 2 stars, you got what you paid for. For a non-demanding traveller, it is acceptable, but be prepared for low standard.

I booked this hostel because it is nicely located and I could not get someting else on a very short notice in the weekend.

I stayed in a private room: two twin beds for myself in a dusty filthy room with a window to the courtyard where people were drinking all night. The shared bathroom was on the same floor, but I could not lock it. It was dirty although there were hardly any guests. The staff did not inform me of anything; not where the breakfast was, or were to get tea, not of where in BA I was. They just gave me the key to the room. Probably because their English is extremely poor, but for other hotels/hostels this has never be a problem (I speak a little spanish). My private room was expensive - almost 50 Euro's. For this money I could stay in a nice guesthouse or B&B with way better staff and in a better room.

I will never come back.

If you like dirty, dingy, broken and noisy this is for you. This is the 2nd dirtiest hostel we have stayed in over 6 months in S America. The walls and floors in the rooms were filthy. The common bathrooms we beyond disgusting at all hours of the day. A large family lives (assume owns) in the hostel and parties all night including the 3 year old crawling around until the wee hours of the morning. They are constantly yelling at each other to get their attention. The sink in the common bathroom broke off the wall and they made no effort to have it fixed. Our friends were told they had to switch rooms, but not what time. We came back from breakfast and our friends walked in on other people in their room only to find all their luggage had been moved to another room for them. The hostel as a whole is very unprofessional. Try Hostel Suites Palermo around the corner instead, it's always spotless.

This place is nice for a hostel, not the typical hostel in Europe. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The place was cleaned more frequently than when I stayed at a super expensive place in Costa Rica this past July. They offer a breakfast, coffee, and tea which is great.

not to recommend at all,...typical place where the owner tries to get out the maximum of money by not giving any quality or service.
Its dirty and smelly,...cleaning is unregular,...the bathrooms are better not to mention - dirty and small,..not always hot water,...
one night i entered the dorm,...people were sleeing on the floor,...an ohter night people were sleeping in the common area,...some of them were drugged and behaved not very regular,...
breakfast: better not to mention,...the recepniosit gives you to slizes of bread (out of the desk) and thats it,...+coffee,...breakfast terrace,....always dirty,..you have to clean up the table from the dishes of other travellers,...the owner always shouts around,...the dorms are located near main entrance and recpetion,...hence, very noise
defintely not to recommend!!!
