My wife and I visit Buenos Aires at least once a year. We go to the same hotel most of the time, but from time to time we try new ones on the same neighborhood. The Krista focus on Vintage decor and is located on my favorite part of town. The positives: location, very helpful and polite staff, charming breakfast room, good coffee. The cons: breakfast doesn't have any hot choices, room (ours was a suite) is small and it doesn't have a desk, so no way you can do any work at all; wifi isn't good; the vintage bath tub looks nice but curtains were stained and no matter how hard we tried flooding was inevitable.

Dear guests,

Thank you very much for your feedback.

We are very pleased to know that you have enjoyed our hospitality and that you could appreciate our quality of service, the charm of our breakfast and the location. Regarding the morning meal, it does include hot options like eggs, cooked to the order and at the moment.

We apologize if Wi-Fi service was not working properly sometime during your stay. We have a premium internet provider and speed and connectivity is adequate, most of the time. As described and shown in pictures on all websites, our Suite has a sitting area with 2 armchairs and a small table.

Once again, thank you for writing your review and sharing your opinion.

With best regards,

Cristina Marsden

Sadly we spent only one night in this delightful little hotel, but what a fantastic end to a holiday in Argentina. Comfy bed, and a window that looked over the enclosed little garden courtyard. A great place to relax with a glass of Malbec in peace and calm. The staff were all superb, charming and helpful. Only 15 minutes from the internal airport so a wonderful stopover on our way back from Mendoza. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends. The hotel also organised our taxis for arrival and departure so a great experience. Will be back next year

Room Tip: A room overlooking the courtyard garden is a definite plus

We have all had this feeling at one time or another. The sinking feeling. After a long flight, your taxi pulls up outside a hotel. You check the name on the door with the name on your booking. You squint. And you pray. You pray that it'll be better inside than it is on the outside.

In this case, alas, it wasn't.

The pictures and the description of Krista Hotel Boutique are bordering on being fraudulent. The place itself is a far cry from what is offered online.

There were too many irritations to mention. Here are a random selection:
...the shower barely worked ...the room was so small that I was forced to sit on the bed most of there time ..the room had an iron security shutter overlooking a grotesque rooftop ...the internet hardly worked, neither did the telephone, or the remote control for the a/c And I swear that that coffee at breakfast was poison.

Dear guest ,

We regret that our hotel has not reached your expectations.

There is absolutely no fraud with the pictures and description of the room and other common areas. The Standard room surface is 23m2 (247 sqf) , as is indicated in all internet websites.

Right after you checked out we verified that both the air conditioning remote control and phone worked perfectly; the Wi-Fi connection had no problem at all and the speed was adequate.

At all times during breakfast you had also available capsules of espresso coffee -of a recognized global brand- on the desk at the lobby.

We are sorry to know that you do not share the opinion of most of our guests, who have highlighted the hotel architectural and decorative charm, the comfort, service and quality of our attention.

Cordially,

Cristina Marsden
Manager

Good hotel option to stay in Palermo, a neighbor with a lot of restaurants. In Krista the breakfast was great and manager were very kind with us. The ambient was relaxing and the hotel is beautiful. They also speak portuguese and english. I absolutely recommend.

The Service must be highlighted together the neigborhood with good restaurants, delys, bakeries, stores and malls.
Some litle repairs are necessary in the bathrooms but in general the Hotel is excelent.
