Description: Cabaña Las Lilas, located in the heart of Puerto Madero, is a restaurant that combines the tradition of Argentinean meat with Brazilian warmth and hospitality. The venue was established in 1995 in a joint venture between Belarmino Fernández Iglesias, owner of the well-known restaurant chain Rubaiyat in São Paulo, and Estancias y Cabaña Las Lilas S.A., a 4th generation family business specializing in the breeding of the best livestock in Argentina and the Americas. The selection of the best raw material, together with an impeccable service, has turned Cabaña Las Lilas into a world-class restaurant visited by the most demanding gastronomes. The prestigious American newspaper “The New York Times” has even named it as one of the 10 best restaurants worldwide. Distinguished continuously since 2007 with the wine spectator award.

This looked by far the nicest restaurant on the Puerto Madero waterfront and the busiest. Due to the location we went in with the expectation that it was not going to be cheap (do that & you won’t be shocked). From the moment we walked onto the veranda and asked for a table our experience was excellent. The service was superb & the food was sublime. Don’t even think about ordering a starter, unless you have huge appetite, as the extras you get as an appetiser, along with the bread are more than enough. My wife ordered the Lomo, essentially a brochette/ kebab & I had the Ojo (Rib Eye), plus a couple of sides & couldn’t fault either main course. We shared a dessert & with a bottle of wine & coffees la Cuenta came out to around $ar 3000.
I’d definitely recommend Cabana Las Lilas, but don’t go if you’re on a tight budget.

We went here because we wanted to have one "fancy" special night out in Buenos Aires at a nice steakhouse and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is beautiful and huge. There is seating inside and outside and after walking around it seems like both would be great as the inside is extremely nice and the outside has great views of the water. The service is good, the waiters pull out your chair and there were 4-5 people taking care of our table of 5, bringing out the food, giving us bread, etc. Definitely try the free bread that comes on the table, it is delicious. My friend and I shared the T-bone steak which is a little "tougher" than some cuts but we didn't mind as this means it is much less fatty and it still tasted great. For dessert, I recommend the Nemesis Torta (a flourless chocolate cake) - it is a medium size portion, good for 2-3 people to share a few bites each.
The prices are high for Buenos Aires (~$30 for a steak) but I thought it was worth it to go to this type of place once.

The restaurant is excellent, the view is amazing. Service also very good but the price is high. It is worth but in fact there are others restaurants in BA as good as Las Lilas! Wine + meal + desert around 1500 pesos each person.

We visited for dinner. Located on the row of old, remodeled warehouses across the water from Puerto madero, Cabana Las Lilas offers traditional parrillada. The choices for appetizers are well prepared (think Sweetbreads and blood sausage!), and the salads are fresh, crisp and delicious. Each cut of meat is carefully prepared to the guest's spec and nicely presented. The wine list is excellent and covers all areas of the Argeninean wine regions. Great recommendation from the Hotel madero concierge, Sebastian.

We came here for lunch and the food was very good and the environment was excellent. I had a burger, which was very good, but I thought it was overpriced. You're definitely paying for the location and not so much the food. For example, I had a steak that night at another restaurant that was cheaper than the burger I had here. With that being said, it's still a nice place to come enjoy good weather and an alcoholic beverage.
