I stayed here for 4nights recently on my first trip to BA. What a find. A superb location opposite Recoleta cemetary. The hotel was clean and well appointed. The staff were very accomodating and offer useful advice. Yes there is construction noise and the higher you are the worse it gets, they do try to ask the workers to start later but its seems to be ignored. Hoever this is mentioned on so many recent posts you would be a fool not to bring ear plugs. I was moved to floor one after the fuse box in my room blew and the difference in noise was amazing, so go for a low floor.

this is a typical suit hotel , no lobby , little dining room for breakfast , stuff is nice, great location (across the recoleta cemetery) view is nice only in the highest floors .
around the corner there is another hotel that looks a bit nicer from the outside - more of an hotel if you prefer: loi suit recoleta and next is the dazzler - all in the same block so you might want to compare prices .

Room Tip: high floor

The hotel was clean, comfortable and modern. We stayed in a spacious room with a little balcony, which overlooked the next door cafe.
The hotel staff were ALL most professional, appropriately friendly and helpful.
The location was great, across the road from the famous Cementerio Recoleta. The view of the cemetery from the leisure area on the top floor of the hotel, was spectacular. And the jacuzzi on the top floor is the perfect place for sundowners.
I was most impressed with the buffet breakfast, there was always more than enough to eat. The only thing which could possibly have made the breakfast experience better, would be if the breakfast area was on the top floor and went outside onto a terrace.
There was construction happening next door, but it didn't go on all day. Also, the cafe below could get a bit noisy. But Buenos Aires is a vibrant city- if you want peace and quiet, go to the country side.
If I was in Buenos Aires again, I would choose to stay in Urban Suites again!

Room Tip: Request to be higher than the construction

This hotel has a fantastic location across the street from the Recoleta cemetery. It is within walking distance to many of the sights. We liked the room size as our room had a comfortable sitting area. Also note that the bathroom had a 110 volt outlet.
We also experienced construction noise between 7:30 and 5:30 on weekdays but we were out during most of that time so it didn't really impact us much.
Breakfast was fine with good selection that catered to all of their guests. Service was great in the breakfast room.
The wireless is pretty useless so we used the computer on the tenth floor. There is also a great view of the cemetery from there.
We enjoyed being within walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Some that we enjoyed were : Rodi Bar, Tarquino, and La Querencia

We decided to stay at this hotel based on reviews from this site. However, they seemed to have failed to mention that every morning at 7 am the construction crew from next door comes and pounds on the walls with hammers and loud tools until 7 at night. This woke us up every morning. If you enjoy this then I recommend this hotel because the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is great. But the construction ruined our experience. Call and ask if construction still going on. If they say no but you arrive and it is RUN. I should mention the pillow menu was awesome and the staff has great dinner recommendations.

Room Tip: Do not pick a room anywhere near the construction.
