This restaurant is a no-frills place located in an old Salta house. It has the ambience of an old canteen. Service is rather slow, even though we went off-peak hours and the place was very uncrowded. They are supposed to specialize in empanadas (turnovers) but offer many other options. The empanadas are okay, nothing special, and are very small. Additionally, my husband and I ordered a mixed salad and a spicy soup of pumpkin and corn. The soup was rather good. Unfortunately, the salad was very bad. It had an odd taste, that it took us a while to define exactly. We concluded that the greens had been washed with a disinfectant and not rinsed well enough afterwards. I would not recommend this restaurant. There are better options of places to eat in Salta.
