Overnighting at Estancia Cristina was a fantastic experience. The comfortable accommodation with great views, good service and exciting excursions. The waterfall walk was easy and fun, the museum tour interesting but the highlight for us was the trip to the glacier and walk back through the canyon. The fossils were incredible and it felt like a glimpse back thousands of years. Our guide was knowledgable too.

Staff was wonderful - and they help you pack a lot into a short visit - horseback riding, a day-long guided hike, a couple of short hikes on our own and an interesting tour of the Estancia and its history. The little cabins are roomy and comfortable with a fabulous view of the mountains. There were very few visitors when we were there and it was very peaceful and quiet.

We made an extraordinary experience. Everything was great, Very kind and helpful staff. Food was excellent. The excursions were very good, Upsala glaciar experience with the 4x4 vehicle and the hike down to dhe lodge was fanastic.

Room Tip: Room in one of the cabins with view to the mountain

This is a remote, pristine, beautiful place. The trip there affords the chance to see magnificent icebergs, glaciers and rainbows.
Staying over 2 nights, we were able to take numerous hikes and horseback rides in vast unspoiled land. The staff treated us with warm hospitality, great food, and knowledgeable guiding.
Fantastic value for this experience. Perfect, simple, nature and good people. Not a place of super luxury, but one of super authenticity.

Room Tip: Our room was great, simple, clean, complete. No electricity after about 11 pm.

I stayed at Estancia Cristina for 2 nights through a Backroads hiking trip with my mom. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It was truly an experience of a lifetime. You're in such a remote part of the world, so it really feels like you're the only ones out there, with endless Patagonian land surrounding you. You have to get here by boat, which I thought was really cool. The rooms were so adorable, with amazing views right outside your doorstep. The service and the food.. both spectacular. We went horseback riding, which was such a fun and beautiful experience! I also did one of my favorite hikes of all time through Fossil Canyon while staying here. I'm still on a high from this trip! No bad things to say. Already want to come back.
