Really convenient, clean and relaxing. Buses run constantly perfect stay for a day or two. The only draw back is water pressure but I don't think they can help that because water is is such high demand

Thank you for your review of Hualapai Ranch. We're glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. We apologize for the water pressure, but as you noted, there isn't much that can be done about that.

We only had one night here and it wasn't busy, but the staff went out of their way to make us welcome. The room was chatty and clean with well appointed fittings. Dinner and breakfast substantial and tasty. The lovely lady who checked us in even made a special trip down to make 'smores for the children as the campfire was unavailable due to high winds. As a gateway to the Grand Canyon West, this place is a must!

You live in "motel style" on the ranch. Ok for us adults but very good for the Children. Lasso throwing at wooden cows, instructed by a real cowboy. This wat the highligth for our 5 year old! Descent dinner with live country Music. At night the personell made up a fire underneath the stars with light Music Entertainment, free mashmallows and hot chocolate- very nice, the Children loved it.

Room Tip: All rooms in a row, nice family rooms.

It's good to hear your kids had such a great time. Hopefully your five-year-old can lasso a wooden cow now :) Thanks for visiting and the great review.

We joined a tour as a private group of 45 out of LA to Yellowstone for 9 days, stopping here on our first night. We were told this ranch is in Hualapai (??) territory but was unaware of the 'dry' rules on alcohol consumption. Getting too excited to bring our own bottles of Zinfandel for private consumption but were seized by the tribe people, then were told by our tour guide to 'grin and bear' it without recourse. He should have forewarned us about it.

Though we did not get to experience the 'full' package of activities due to our fairly late arrival after a long drive from LA and had to leave early like road warriors to our next stop, we did get unrivalled experience of singing with their guitarist under the stars around a campfire.

There's room for improvement -- we arrived in a group to occupy 20+ rooms, only to find out that there is no volunteer or pre-arranged help, at our expense if need be, to haul our big suitcases over unpaved ground to our rooms as far as 200 metres. That could well shorten the lives of the wheels of our suitcases drastically.

On the next morining, we had to make our request to arrange their trucks to make three trips to transport all of them, and paid them a tip.

Room Tip: Rooms closer to the dining room to save the trouble of hayling suitcases for 200 meters max
