This hotel is a true gem. We had the Grand Highland room on the front of the hotel and it was perfect in every way. Such a comfy bed - beautifully decorated room and the bathroom is gorgeous. No noise at all - we didn't need the thoughtfully provided ear plugs or white noise machine at all! The complimentary breakfast and the tea and cookies in the afternoon were thoughtful touches - more people should stay here it is superb!!!

Small historic friendly romantic hotel hidden in the Prescott Arizona town square. This IS the place to stay here. Walking distance to an assortment of restaurants, boutiques, antiques, saloons. Weather in mid August is a delightful 72° with a light breeze. Ask the staff for suggestions, they are wonderful. Stay during the week if you can, no crowds. Enjoy time away.

My daughter and I visited Prescott AZ and recently had heard of this hotel. It was everything and more that we had been told. It sits on the very historical town square of Prescott and from the time you step into the beautiful front door, it seems that you have stepped back in time! It is a small hotel that has been renovated with beautiful décor. We first met the staff that are there to, obviously, provide you with everything that you need. They were so nice and made you feel comfortable immediately. We stayed 4 days and by the time we left, the staff became friends. We stayed in the Capitol Room (each room is named for a historical building/event in Prescott's past) and when we opened the door, you actually felt that you had stepped back in time. Our suite had 3 rooms that were decorated impeccably. The sitting room serves as an extra bedroom and a vase of fresh flowers with a very nice welcome note awaited us. The main bedroom's bed was one of the best that I have slept on. And the bathroom was so cute with beautiful appointments...the bear-claw tub/shower was so cool!! Everything was neat, tidy, and clean. Each morning, there were all sorts of pastries, yogurts, eggs, juices, and coffee for light breakfast and cookies for the day in the small breakfast nook in the lobby. There is a large beautiful courtyard outside the hotel that they use for small or large social events. It, too, is beautifully decorated and is available to host the many parties, weddings, and meetings that the Highland hosts through the year. There was a party in the courtyard the first night we were there and we were not bothered by the noise...actually it was fun to walk the sidewalk and watch the party happenings! Such a great place if you are searching for an upcoming wedding venue! Also, the hotel is located so that you can easily walk to the many restaurants and enjoy the sight-seeing that Prescott offers. We loved this hotel and will definitely stay again!

This is a wonderful small family owned historic hotel. The rooms have been updated to reflect the history of Prescott. The staff was friendly and the location is prime.
I was very pleased with our stay especially as the rates were less than other options in the area.

Was super excited to stay here after seeing the pics on the website. The did a nice job on the renovation of this old place. But I don't feel it was worth the $200 a nite price tag. Found a couple of Beatles one in the bed and another in the tub. The walls are super thin. They know this and actually stock the place with ear plugs. The breakfast the offer is in a hallway with a one cup coffee machine. Sorta annoying when your waiting to make a cup and the guy in front of you is making one for everyone in his room.
