Rooms were very clean. People at front desk were very nice and helpful. Close to downtown. We had 2 adults and 2 kids so room was comfortable. Not much for kids to do, no pool, etc. but if you're looking for a clean place to stay within walking distance to downtown, this is a good place. A/C worked very well, in fact had to turn it down a couple of times even though it was very hot out. Nice diner just behind motel.

I've stayed here many times. It has its quirks, like water faucets that are reversed hot/cold, turn the wrong way, etc. The bathrooms are not vented, and it's hard to open a window to air things out. On the day I arrived, a planned two hour water stoppage dragged into a day and a half, but they refunded everyone a night for the inconvenience. Because it's privately owned and not a national chain, they can do things like that to deal with unusual circumstances.

It has a certain style to it, a 1940s era motel in Western motif that--other than the large flat-screen TVs--doesn't particularly want to modernize. No breakfast, but there's always coffee brewing and it can be pleasant to sit on one of the large sofas in the office and talk a bit with the front desk staff. There's an area in the back with some comfortable outdoor furniture under an oak tree, just made for enjoying the beer you can keep cold in the small refrigerators in each room.

Room Tip: I'd prefer one of the rooms that opens to the front, rather than the clusters of three that have small shared hallways.

Friendly staff, room small for 3 persons but clean and renovated toilet. Carpark just outside room, convenientjust find room very tight for 3 adults and a kid.
Will try another hotel in Prescott if I return.
Have a nice piano in the lounge.
Location central.

Nice classic Motor Lodge. Rooms are small and are well updated. Bathroom was nice, TV completely modern. The office closes at 11 so you need to check in before that. They have actual KEYS for the locks. Coffee in the office in the morning and genuinely nice staff.

We only stayed 1 night at the Apache Lodge, but we would have loved to stay longer. The hotel check in was a breeze, the room was comfortable, clean, and the location was perfect. In fact, the Apache Lodge was 10 times better than where we had previously stayed in Tempe but paid a lot more for our stay. We will definitely choose the Apache Lodge again when we go to Prescott.
