They seem to have changed hands, but the food is still fine. I noticed that the New York City decor is gone now, so I think it lost some of its charm.Time will tell. They have a nice selection of baked goods.

We had our wedding cake made at NY bagel in 2015. Awesome quality cake! We stop by regularly when traveling from Phoenix and have breakfast here. Sadly the last 3 trips for breakfast have been underwhelming... smaller bagels with less quality toppings and less choices. Used to love the raspberry crumb cake but told this is no longer a regular item. Tried another crumb cake that was not good.
Will have to find another breakfast place when in Sedona.

Seems like a family-run restaurant. Very friendly, fast and efficient. Great for grabbing breakfast on the go. What we liked best though, was the extensive selection of fresh, home-made mexican pastries! We stopped in here a couple of times on our trip to Sedona and would certainly go back. Yum!

While visiting Sedona we wanted to pick up some pastry and sandwiches to take back to the hotel. When we entered the shop we were the only customers so we thought it would be quick and easy. That was until the YOUNG girls proceeded to get our simple order wrong three times. All we wanted was a cold cut sandwich, a chicken salad sandwich and four pastries. The girl fumbled around, asked her friend how to make them and then forgot to make the second sandwich. After an eternity, we finally got our products. When we opened the bag, the pastries were ALL stale as was the French roll for my sandwich. The topper was that there wasn't any chicken salad on my sandwich, it was only lettuce, tomato and mayo. This has to be one of the worst deli's I have ever been seen, won't be back.

We are sorry you had such a disappointing experience at our establishment. The young lady waiting on you was only on her second day of work, so she was struggling with some of the ingredients in our multitude of sandwiches. She has received additional training and is now on target.

We also changed How we prepare our bread since your review. We use no preservatives, so occasionally if this type of bread is baked a little too long it becomes a little too crispy and has the consistency of stale bread. We discard our unused bread and bagels every day, so what you were served was not old, just overbaked. A more experienced deli clerk would have noticed that and would not have served it.

Thank you for your feedback.

Fast service, good selection and the prices are right. A must stop for a great bagel and pastries. Easy to find and plenty of parking.
