My wife and I came here to stay for three nights and see the sights of Sedona, as well as visit our sons that live in Phoenix and Flagstaff.

Pros:

Clean, basic room. Mini fridge and hairdryer. Good AC. Strong water pressure with nice, hot water. Beds were comfortable. Quiet. Plenty of free parking. Easy drive(but not walk) to downtown Sedona.

Cons:

Our first night, my wife right away found hairs on both of her pillows. Called the front desk (as instructed) to have clean ones delivered. 20 minutes later, they had not arrived. Went down to the office in my PJs. The clerk (young woman with glasses and short hair) was just sitting at the desk. She mumbled something about being "slammed" and "spacing". She did apologize but did not seem too concerned. Not particularly friendly. Other front office staff I encountered were all business, courteous but also not very friendly.

One pane on the bathroom window had clear glass and there were no curtains. My wife taped paper towels up.

We found the breakfast not worth partaking and skipped it, except the first morning I had yogurt with toppings. By the third morning, the yogurt machine was out of order.

I've read the responses of management to their reviewers, calling this a hotel. It's a motel by definition, two stories with outside entrances.

The room rates are reasonable by Sedona standards, but beware. They add $10 a night if you book through a third party, something that is not clear at all and that I find rather annoying. Do they offer discounts through third party sites and then offset the cost by adding $10 a night? Not sure.

I would not stay here again.

I'm certain this hotel was recently renovated, having been in Sedona for some years now. They did a great job !! The rooms are neat. clean, and well-designed. Loved having our own balcony view of the mountains across 89A. This property was also far enough away from the mayhem of uptown tourist traffic, as well as the hordes traveling on 179..

One thing they could do however is to skimp less on the breakfast. For a few dollars more in room rate, we could have higher quality breakfast munchies. Otherwise everything was wonderful.

Room tip: The side with Room 119 has a good balcony view

I have 4 stars due to the price, however, I understand Sedona is a higher priced place to stay. It was a fairly basic motel. We paid extra for a “Mountain View” and it appears mostly all of the rooms had this, and was not worth the extra money. The free breakfast was superior to the typical bag breakfasts most even upscale hotels are currently serving due to covid. They had a yogurt bar, oatmeal, egg burritos, coffee/ juices, uncrustables and other snacks that we were able to take on our hikes. We were very impressed by it! I guess we just expected the room to be a bit more updated for the price but it worked! Staff was very kind and accommodating.

Nothing fancy but clean and everything you need in a great location. Close to all the great places Sedona has to offer and nice and quiet for a peaceful and comfy night’s sleep. The room comes equipped with many convenient amenities (Hair dryer, coffee station, fridge, microwave). There is a breakfast room next to the office stocked with breakfast burritos, muffins, fruit, cereal, beverages (Hot and cold), and other items. There is also a snack and beverage machine for late night munchies as well as an ice machine. Even if you’re a nit-picker, I can’t see anything to complain about. Such a nice, clean place to stay!

The room was very clean and spacious for two people. The bathtub was a bit clogged so it took a few minutes for the water to drain. Not a biggie!
The Inn's location was literally a few minutes drive to where the trail leading to Devil's Bridge starts. Love it!
I would go back and stay there again.

Room tip: Try to get a room on the main floor so you avoid carrying the suitcases upstairs,
