Great course that was in excellent shape. Greens rolled true and all in all it played very friendly. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend a visit to ASU Karsten when visiting the Phoenix area.

I played alone and chose this course as it was close to my hotel. Sometimes when travelling it is very difficult to get tee times when you are on your own. No problem here. The course is quite hilly but in great condition and well looked after. Being on your own is a little difficult to navigate as some of the holes were not well signed. Greens were very fast but in great condition and running true. Very quiet at this time of year so was really able to take my time and soak up the atmosphere. Not a top line course but challenging and good fun to play. The pro shop is very well stocked and has great staff. The restaurant has great food and serves both breakfast and lunch from around 10am. Take the time to enjoy. THe course also has a great driving and practice range as well as a golf school for lessons. Enjoy this course while you can as they plan to re-develop the course into high rise apartments over the next few years. What a shame.I would love to come back.

Played this course during spring break in March. First of all, what a nice staff ~ very welcoming and helpful. The course was very fun ~ every hole was challenging and made you think about where to put the ball. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Being an OB member, the price was right. The atmosphere was great. Clubhouse was fun with all of the ASU merchandise, the patio was fun and the wait staff was terrific. I have nothing negative to say about this experience. Can't wait to return.

Great golf course for a great price but it's a very tough course in my books so if your looking for an easy course don't go here but if you want a nice hard course I recommend

We played this course when we first arrived in January. It was middle of the week and not very busy. The course was in great shape and pace of play was wonderful.

We booked through a golf broker however I have seen some good rates through Golfnow.

Evidently the ASU golf team is moving to Popago and the Karsten course is going to close? Too bad if that is the case.
