We booked this as it wasnt far from the Grand Canyon at a fraction of the cost of the hotels inside. This is about a 30 minute drive to the main car park so if you want to get there to watch the sun rise/set you need to take this into account. Its a straight drive and for those UK peeps, had the only roundabout we came across in America (dont freak out though, its easy as you are driving on the other side of the road). The Lodge was basic, clean and the staff were lovely and the car park was free. There is a McDonalds on the opposite side of the road and a nice mexican next door where you get a discount if you are staying in the lodge. It does get pretty busy in there as there is not much around but most people will only be there for the one day/night as a base for the Grand Canyon. It was exactly what we needed and as we were up at 5am to go see the sun rise, we done all of the bus tours by 10:30 and saw all of the views and vistas that we wanted to see and got a prime spec in the car park then got back in time to freshen up and check out. Thanks for a pleasant stay :)

Room Tip: We stayed not far from the check in desk on the ground floor, was quiet and convenient.

We stayed here for one night on our winter visit to the Grand Canyon NP. The room was very comfortable and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. You are close to everything and the only thing we missed was a free breakfast, which there is none.

We stayed here for one night so that we could catch the sunrise over the canyon. Of course, the hotel was not full in January, however, the staff were very friendly and helpful. No complaints whatsoever about the room. I highly recommend this hotel, and will come again!!

Great clean large room & bath. Nice welcoming décor. Front desk and housekeeping were great, friendly & willing to please. Enjoyed our two night stay. Convenient to the Grand Canyon. Would stay here again and highly recommend. Price was very reasonable. Needed winter coats to tour the canyon. We are from Wisconsin and use to Polar Plunges and cold & snow, but just weren't brave enough to try the heated outdoor pool.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was comfortable and the guy at the front desk was extremely helpful. Unfortunately, no breakfast was included in the price. The location is good, only a short drive to the grand canyon. Would stay here again.
