Only 30 minutes away from the grand canyon village. Rooms were clean. The food at the restaurant was great. I only stayed one night and it was perfect for someone who just wants to have a good night rest.

Room Tip: My room was across the street. They are very small.

Imagine hundreds of people roaming the hotel in their pajamas! 15 of us had a ball with our children and grandchildren on the Polar Express. Efficient check-in; rooms were adjacent; large, clean, comfortable, well appointed. Great service at night in Spencer's Pub. Wonderful festive decorations. Have nothing negative to say.

The hotel is located half way between Williams/Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon National Park. Close by you can find 2 petrol stations, and a convenience store, not much else. Check in was fast, the room was spacious and clean, even if a bit dated. I think this place offers good value for money, located just 35 minutes from the Grand Canyon Rim... clearly if you have the money to stay closer there are better hotels, but this one is a great alternative, far closer than hotels in Flagstaff and Williams. So all in all I would recommend it and come back. Wifi was a bit slow, but free, plenty of parking.

Staff will do the minimum for you. Check out took ages because there was nobody at the reception (8am) and there was no clear instructions to leave the keys in front desk.
From this place to south rim entrance take 40 minutes and not 20.
Bed was not comfortable but room was spacious.
Cheers,
David

1. SLOW WIFI- it was unusably slow. couldnt upload photos onto social media(but at least the GPS on my phone worked using the WIFI, otherwise we would have been stuck in the middle of nowhere because grand canyon area doesnt have cellphone reception) but still the WIFI is terribly slow.

2. TINY TOILET- the toilet bowl is tiny (Kids size?) and you cannot fit your whole butt on it. if you are not careful, you risk accidentally touching the inside of the toilet bowl with your penis even when it isn't erect because that is how small the toilet is! eww. and the bathroom is so small you cant even close the door when you are defecating on the toilet seat because the door path gets blocked by your knees OMG...

i believe also the time that we went (early October), the swimming pool was closed.

3. the female lady at reception has no smile on face but just the bare minimum manner. room is nice (not luxury though)

4. the corridor smelt like gasoline because a contractor was fixing stuff in the other room and the door was open and we could smell the fumes.

5. the positive experience was the lady in the gift shop on the inside of the shop with her own glass counter, she was very friendly and told us about the sights and attractions in the vicinity. she is the only reason this post gets 3 stars instead of 2 stars.
