We rented a couple of RV's to do a short trip to Arizona. First, calling the Grand Canyon Railway and booking both our train tickets and RV reservations was painless and it was clear that they were focused on being helpful and professional. We have never vacationed like this, and everyone was extremely helpful. The agent even offered to book us in a Buddy Site when she found out that there were two RV's needing reservations. It was awesome. Our RV opened up facing our Daughters door, which was facing ours. Perfect!
The grounds are super clean, with pristine hookups. The sites were generous and we had an easy pull through site. The facilities, such as laundry, public showers and bathrooms were extremely clean. I had no problems showering and getting ready in the women's locker area.
You can't beat the location. We walked right next door to the Grand Canyon Railway, and you can use all the amenities at the hotel. You're also across the street from the Grand Canyon Brewery, which our family LOVED. You're a short walk to downtown with tons of shopping and restaurants.
We all look forward to returning someday, and would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a quaint town, a train ride to the Grand Canyon or to see the sights on the historic Route 66.More
