Terrific home-made food here! The place is informal, and we got to talk with the chef/owner and the next generation chef. This is a family project. They are proud to make everything here--the salsa and chips that arrived while we considered the menu, the sopapillas at the end of dinner, the green and red chili. I had a terrific tamale (one of the best I've had) and a flauta with guacamole very recently acquainted with an avocado. The tile tables and floor add to the atmosphere of a small, local, family-run restaurant. (Make sure you stop down the street at the statue of the people standing on the corner in Winslow, Arizona!)
