Terrific home-made food here! The place is informal, and we got to talk with the chef/owner and the next generation chef. This is a family project. They are proud to make everything here--the salsa and chips that arrived while we considered the menu, the sopapillas at the end of dinner, the green and red chili. I had a terrific tamale (one of the best I've had) and a flauta with guacamole very recently acquainted with an avocado. The tile tables and floor add to the atmosphere of a small, local, family-run restaurant. (Make sure you stop down the street at the statue of the people standing on the corner in Winslow, Arizona!)

This is a family owned and operated one of many restaurants here in Winslow it's just on the located little bit outside of downtown but still in town.

This is your typical a fennec New Mexico flavoring from New Mexico family owned and operated great service and food's not too bad it isn't expensive and it's easy in easy out just come check it out you won't be that disappointed.

We were here a couple of years ago. Tried them one evening, came back the next night. Would have come back the third night but w were 400 miles away. Best blue corn enchiladas in NM or AZ. Am trying to figure out how to include in my next trip to the area.

Nearing the end of an all day drive and passing by Winslow. Checked TripAdvisor and thought Casa Blanca Cafe look like a good choice for dinner. It was fantastic!! Close to I-40, not too hard to find but a GPS is helpful. Attractive building, well lighted. It was not crowded but nothing in that area of Winslow looked to be overcrowded. Great menu with lots of options. Our dinners were served quickly, everything was great, almost too much to finish and ended with a check that was much less than expected. Highly recommended.

Place is a dive, but we like dives. People are friendly. It was 2 in the afternoon and we weren't about to hit the Painted Desert all hangry.
We ordered iced tea and carne Adovada burritos . Chips and salsa were served free.

Chips were ok, crispy and fresh.
Salsa was medium spicy, a little sweet for my taste. Fresh.

Burritos were huge. Tons of moist, tender pork. The sauce was delicious.

So, why a three. The food was tepid, and the iced tea was weak.

It was difficult to enjoy because I kept wondering if the near was ok to eat because it wasn't warm.

Well we will find out later. Hopefully not in the middle of the desert.

It's worth a stop, however. Just make sure the food is hot.
