This restaurant was suggested to us by a Staff member of a place we visited in Branson. Let me say it was FANTASTIC, Quaint restaurant space with a great story. Coffee was unbelievable and the baked goods were simply great. We paced ourselves during lunch knowing we would want a homemade dessert and it did not disappoint. We left with muffins for breakfast for the next Day: strawberry, banana walnut and raspberry lemon. Muffins were gigantic but delicious. Stop in if you can make it work.

We enjoyed our breakfast at this cafe. Excellent pancakes and omelettes. Honestly came in for the historic experience (check out the details on cafe’s website). Discovered that the spring runs under the Mud Street Cafe Annex three doors down. Went there after breakfast and saw the spring running in full force due to the recent rains. Cool! Check it out!

The food was good but nothing special and a little on the pricy side. The waitress was not very friendly. It is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

I have been to both the Mud Street Cafe and the annex and they are both outstanding. What sets the annex a bit apart is the glass floor that looks down into the original street and gives you a glimpse of the spring running underneath all the buildings below Mud Street.

Oh yeah the food was spectacular and the coffee is always the best!
